These guys grow in a yard across the street from our apartment. I hadn’t noticed until this evening, when the shock of yellow caught my eye.
I noticed this little guy next to a condo building this morning on my way to work.
We’ve just moved back into our office following a remodel, so of course we had to decorate.
I found these at Dillon’s (grocery store) on Saturday. This table in the middle of the store was a gorgeous sea of yellow. (Sorry about the crappy color. Florescent lights do terrible things to cell phone photos.)
Here in Kansas City, we’ve gone from 80-degree highs back down to 28-degree lows in less than a week. Friday’s lunchtime walkabout was dismal. I was ready to head back after only 10 minutes, when we stumbled upon these little guys. I figured if they could tough it out, so could I, and it turned out to be a great walk after all.

More daffodils on today’s walkabout! I may have been more excited than was necessary. :)
I saw my first daffodil of the season yesterday. I found it on a lunchtime walkabout with a couple of coworkers, and yes, I made them wait while I snapped this photo.
